The Exposed Saga Part One Part Two Part Three Part Four edition by Deborah Bladon Literature Fiction eBooks

Reader requirements:

1. You are willing to suspend your disbelief in order to go on a very dramatic soap opera like ride.

2. You enjoy a lot of steamy scenes.

3. You enjoy multiple plot twists which are fairly easy to predict.

The premise behind this story is excellent. What is it like to live with a donor organ? How does the process of organ donation impact those involved?

What is somewhat frustrating is that our heroine, Sadie, is smart enough to go to Harvard, but has major difficulties knowing her own mind. It seems that each time she makes a decision, it is followed by input from someone else and then Sadie thinks maybe that person is right and then changes her mind.

The second group of characters and how they impact Hunter is way over the top.

The Exposed Saga Part One Part Two Part Three Part Four edition by Deborah Bladon Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

This is the third book I’ve read by Bladon, the author, and I have to say I liked it the best! First I read Pulse, which I thought was pretty good, than I read Obsessed, which I did not like and I almost stopped there. I’m so glad I went ahead & read Exposed.

There are still the same spelling, grammatical errors, words missing, etc but I liked the plot and storyline enough to over look most, though they did start to become a bit distracting the farther along I read. Now that the Author seems to have several books under her belt, and she is a “New York Times bestselling author”, she should really find a good editor.

I thought the plot was great & creative. There is no denying the author is quite imaginative coming up with all these ideas, just needs better implementation. The storyline flowed pretty good until the end, than it skips a month, two months, weeks, etc. and kinda wraps up really fast. The book ends at 98% and there is still a major issue at 96% that gets resolved hastily. There are a few good twists & turns that aren’t too predictable, though I pieced all the info together & figured out who Coral was the first conversation Hunter & Sadie have about her. I do like how Sadie’s best friend Alexa stuck by her, I was afraid all the author knew how to write was backstabbing bff’s based on the other two books. I do wish we got to meet Hunter’s mom, he talks so fondly of her, and she’s with Cory a lot, would have been nice to “meet” her. And you see some of the same friend characters from the other books, that’s always nice seeing them in different perspective when its not their story. There were one or two events that were unbelievable, but I liked the story enough to overlook them.

The sex scenes in this book are great, hot & steamy, but not overly done. They don’t constantly resort to sex to fix everything, they actually fight & talk, and Sadie is able to resist him at times, which is nice. I hate when the female lead is so into the male lead she always gives into him.

Overall, I’m not sure if I’m giving this book 5 stars because it really is that good or because its 5 stars when compared to the other two I’ve read by Bladon, Pulse & Obsessed. I think if I hadn’t read the other two, maybe it would only be 4 stars. Either way, it’s a good book, and I’d recommend it.
What an excellent read! Liked it so much that I read it again when this bundle came available.

A story full of drama, secrets, heartbreak and mystery.

As the series started I felt so sad for Sadie. Like her life wasn't hard enough stuck with cold/indifferent/calculating parents, low self esteem due to being I'll as a child, her heart surgery and bad relationships, now she also had to deal with lies, distrust and more lies from the man she's in love with.

Hunter. Secrets meant to protect her almost ruined her happiness. Living a life she almost lost as a child thanks to a miracle of having someone else's heart, but for it to be tainted by meeting her heart donors cruel family. Hunters long list of secrets were so cruel. It was awful to find out he was engaged to her heart donors nasty sister, but worse that he had a son with her too!!!  Crazyyyyyy!

Reading this series I often found myself thinking how damm callous DB Hunter was even though you could see he loved her too. But as their story continued, we find that the villain turns out to be martyr, the protector and one willing to give up on his own happiness to do the right thing for an adorable little boy that his mother obviously simply saw as a meal ticket.

Happy that in the end Hunter, princess Sadie, Corry & Olivia find their happiness.

Excellent read!
Again, and this will probably be the case with all of Deborah's works in a series, this was a good as a series, but I'm glad I didn't purchase the titles individually and wait for one after the other because there was too much unnecessary angst. Each book was full of drama and 'secrets' that were built up, then explained away in a sentence or two. Only they weren't really explained, and not worth all the angst in the first place.

The storyline was good but the hero was a liar who was never called on the carpet for it, and the heroine just gave him pass after pass, even though she constantly questioned him and her judgment. Not my favorite series, but I like the characters in the other books, and I like how Deborah weaves characters from other stories into your current read. It's a smart move as an author because it makes you want to read the other character's stories.
Sadie was sick when she was younger, she got a heart transplant and she is insecure about the scar on her chest. Hunter is a wealthy businessman harbouring lots of secrets, but he is desperate to have Sadie. I really liked the story, the drama and the characters at the start, maybe book 1 and 2. ( I read them all in one so the books blurred.) and I was ready to find the five stars. But then then the same thing happened over and over, and I lost respect for Hunter for still keeping secrets and Sadie for just forgiving them. Also... he stalked her for years, and she found it endearing. I was left speechless when she over and over gave into his sexual powwow. It was just so frustrating after the good start.
